What is the best time to perform Umrah?

Umrah can be performed throughout the year, but certain periods are more favorable: the month of Ramadan (multiplied reward), the sacred months (Rajab, Dhul Qi'da, Dhul Hijja, Muharram), and outside of Hajj periods to avoid the crowds. We offer departures throughout the year with special offers for Ramadan.

How do the Umrah rituals unfold?

The Umrah rituals include: 1) The Ihram (state of consecration) at the Miqat, 2) The Tawaf (7 circuits around the Kaaba), 3) The prayer of 2 rak'at near the Maqam Ibrahim, 4) Drinking Zamzam water, 5) The Sa'i (7 walks between Safa and Marwa), 6) The shaving or shortening of hair (Halq or Taqsir). What hotels are offered and how far are they from the Mosque?

We offer different categories of hotels in Makkah and Madinah: 5-star hotels (50-200m from the Haram), 4-star hotels (200-500m), 3-star hotels (500m-1km). All our hotels are selected for their proximity to the holy sites, their comfort and quality of service. Free shuttles are available for more distant hotels.

The price varies depending on the season, the length of stay, the hotel category and the included services. Can women travel alone for Umrah?

Accepted Answer

According to the new Saudi regulations, women over 45 years old can perform Umrah without a Mahram (male guardian), in an organised group. Women under 45 must be accompanied by a Mahram (husband, father, brother, adult son). We offer supervised female groups for women travelling alone.

Which vaccines are mandatory for Umrah?

Accepted Answer

The meningococcal meningitis vaccine (ACYW135) is mandatory and must be administered at least 10 days before departure. Other vaccines are recommended: seasonal flu, COVID-19 (according to current requirements), hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever. We will provide you with the complete list and approved vaccination centres.

What should you pack in your luggage for Umrah?

Here are the essentials: Ihram garments (2 unstitched white pieces for men), loose and modest clothing for women, comfortable shoes that are easy to remove, personal medications, sunscreen, umbrella, prayer mat, Quran, prayer beads (Tasbih), a light backpack for the rituals, and toiletries. Plan for clothing suitable for different temperatures (intense air conditioning).

Is there a religious guide accompanying us?

Yes, all our groups are accompanied by a qualified religious guide (Mourchid) who will assist you throughout the trip. He will explain in detail the Umrah rituals, the supplications (Du'as), the rules of Ihram, and will answer all your religious questions. Lectures and classes are also organised during the stay.

How do I cancel or modify my Umrah booking?

Accepted Answer

To modify or cancel your booking, contact our customer service at least 30 days before departure. The cancellation conditions are: More than 30 days: 80% refund, 15-30 days: 50% refund, Less than 15 days: no refund. Date changes are possible subject to availability with a fee of €50. Cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Do you offer Umrah packages for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, we offer packages adapted for people with reduced mobility. We arrange: wheelchairs for Tawaf and Sa'i, hotels with disabled access close to the Haram, personalised assistance, and adapted rooms. Please inform us of your specific needs at the time of booking for optimal care.
